The Wishful Thinker exceeded all my expectations during our recent stay to celebrate my friend's son's birthday. the hotel's prime location between the M20 and the HS1 line provided a unique and enjoyable experience of watching trains pass by without any disturbance. the newly refurbished rooms were beautifully decorated with a comfortable sleigh bed, contemporary decor, and a convenient coffee machine. the spacious bathroom added to the luxurious feel of the accommodation. the breakfast options were excellent, with a huge granola bowl that was impossible to finish. the weekly dining specials offered a delightful variety of delicious dishes in the large restaurant. the outdoor seating options, including quaint 'sheds' for small parties or families, added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere. Despite the hotel's size, we found cozy spots in the bar area to relax in. the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable, providing exceptional service throughout our visit. the ample car parking on site and the proximity to the lovely village of Lenham made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. Overall, the Wishful Thinker exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a memorable and delightful stay that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable hotel experience.
